About the Position
Statewide Electrical Contractors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This is an office-based position at our Miami headquarters supporting multiple commercial electrical construction projects throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
The ideal candidate will oversee the administrative and operational aspects of several active projects, working closely with field superintendents, foremen, vendors, subcontractors, customers, and company leadership to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and fully documented.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administrative functions of multiple electrical construction projects.
- Coordinate with project superintendents and field personnel to monitor project progress.
- Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
- Process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Order and track materials, equipment, and deliveries.
- Review project drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and utility requirements.
- Communicate with general contractors, owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Assist with billing, job costing, and monthly project financial reporting.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Identify potential scheduling or budget issues and help develop solutions.
- Attend project meetings as needed.
- Support company leadership in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in commercial electrical construction.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with project management software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
