Job Summary:
Statesville Country Club is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Beverage Cart Attendant to provide top-tier food and beverage service to members and guests on the golf course. Job Description:
- Operate the beverage cart to serve drinks, snacks, and light meals to golfers on the course.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by engaging with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines while selling and serving beverages.
- Manage inventory by stocking, restocking, and maintaining an organized and clean beverage cart.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with special events and tournaments as needed.
- Report any maintenance or operational issues to management promptly.
Reports to:
Clubhouse Manager, Food & Beverage Manager
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience in food & beverage service, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of service.
- Must have or be willing to obtain required state and local alcohol service certifications.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak golf season hours.
