Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers to meet daily manufacturing goals.
- Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to ensure optimal use of resources and equipment.
- Monitor production quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Track performance metrics, report on production output, downtime, and improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of printing processes (e.g., flexographic, offset, digital) and related equipment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and production tracking tools.
- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and printing materials.
- Standing, walking, and lifting required throughout the shift.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
