Supply Chain Intern

Job Summary

The  Supply Chain Intern  focuses on coordinating and optimizing supply chain operations, specifically procurement, inventory management and order flow management. The Supply Chain Intern will collaborate closely with the supply chain team to conduct raw materials ordering, ensure timely and accurate order processing, support inventory management, and contribute to various supply chain projects that support the flow of orders in our end-to-end supply chain. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in supply chain management, providing a solid foundation for future career growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and fulfillment of wholesale distributor orders.
• Assist in order creation and receipt of various raw materials for production.
• Communication with vendors to address business needs. 
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
• Communicate with wholesale distributors to address order inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Support the planning and execution of supply chain projects and initiatives.
• Gain exposure to various supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, and demand planning.
• Assist in the analysis of supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the supply chain team.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, ora related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Prior experience or coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus but not required.
• Military experience is a plus.
  
  

Compensation

• $15.00-$17.00 USD per hour.
