Certified Medical Assistant - X-Ray/ Front Desk Reception
Responsibilities:
-Verifies Insurance for patients checking in
-Checks patient's into clinic in a timely manner
-Collects balances and co-pays
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking patient vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant required
- Proficiency in performing X-Ray procedures is a must
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
