Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to the Store Manager but may receive specific assignments and direct supervision from management group, in performance of duties
- Stocking merchandise for sale to include opening cases, price marking items, placing merchandise on shelves; rotates the shelf stock; ordering merchandise only when instructed by supervision
- Place labels, shelf tagging, and performs price changes
- Dusts and cleans merchandise, shelves, and shelf molding and keeps aisles clear of trash, cartons, equipment and other obstacles
- Familiar with store layout and location of emergency and safety equipment
- Unload merchandise from customer baskets, scan their order, and collect money
- Operates cash register, assists in packaging groceries
- Maintain good customer relations
- Other related duties as required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
- To be able to relate to management and customers well
- Ability to read product labels, shelf tags and equipment instructions
- Must possess efficient hand-eye coordination and be able to perform basic math calculations
- Must maintain a sense of integrity
- Must be well groomed
- Able to communicate
