Duties and Responsibilities
- Examine vehicles based on customer requests and concerns
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and inspections
- Repair or replace worn and damaged components such as brakes, bearings, sensors, ignition parts, and fuel system components
- Test systems and components to verify operation and assess vehicle condition
- Use diagnostic equipment and service information to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Follow repair procedures and inspection checklists to ensure repairs are completed thoroughly and accurately
- Determine proper repair strategies through research, diagnostics, and hands-on evaluation
- Communicate findings and repair needs clearly with the service team
- Complete repairs with a high level of quality, precision, and efficiency
- Help ensure an outstanding service experience for every customer
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred
- European brand experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Vocational or technical school certification is a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized, and thorough
- Mechanically and analytically minded
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
