Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. This role provides leadership for quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, calibration, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and customer requirements.
· Manage audits, inspections, testing, calibration, supplier quality, Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), and root cause investigations.
· Develop quality standards, prepare presentations and deliver during design review meetings.
· Monitor quality metrics, drive continuous improvement, and mentor quality team members.
· Perform special assignments related to product support including data gathering and analysis.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Science, Business, or related field.
· 5 years of progressive Quality Assurance/Quality Control leadership experience in manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of quality control inspection and testing procedures and techniques.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and/or ISO 13485, statistical analysis, auditing, and quality systems.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working in Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device, Electronics Manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
· CQE, CQM, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification(s) preferred.
