State Utility Contractors, Inc., a 100 percent employee-owned leader in water and wastewater utility construction, is now hiring for a new multi-million dollar Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Star, NC, located approximately 30 minutes from Albemarle, NC. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
- Skilled Laborers
- Concrete Finishers
- Form Carpenters
- Pipe Layers
- Equipment Operators
All candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:
- Construction experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
- Willingness to work nights and weekends when required
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold
- Ability to routinely lift and move 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
- Strictly adhere to company safety requirements and procedures
- Have the willingness to work in a team environment
Pay will be competitive and based on experience, with entry-level positions starting at $18 to $20 per hour.
