What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Winter Maintenance Assistant (Painter) (Multiple Positions) position at State University of New York at Plattsburgh?
Maintenance & Operations is responsible for processing all work order requests received and handling them accurately and timely. These positions will perform semi-skilled activities in preparing surfaces and applying coats of paint, varnish and other finishes and stains to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces and fixtures of building structures, furniture and equipment. We are part of the Administration & Finance division which provides essential services to our campus, local, state, federal and international customers. We are responsible for human, physical, financial and technical resources. As professionals, we navigate systems in a collaborative and sensitive way to assist the University in achieving its educational mission. The shift for this position is expected to be Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. This temporary position for the winter is expected to begin in mid-December and end in late January.
