We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies and frames to factory specifications using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. This role requires a strong knowledge of vehicle structure, painting techniques, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle damage and create repair plans.
- Remove, repair, or replace damaged vehicle parts such as fenders, panels, bumpers, and doors.
- Sand, fill, prime, and paint vehicle surfaces.
- Install new parts and reassemble vehicles after repairs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in auto body repair.
- Knowledge of vehicle structure and repair procedures.
- Proficient in welding, painting, sanding, and using power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in noisy, high-paced environments.
- Comfortable working with paint fumes, dust, and loud tools
