What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Houseperson position at State Plaza Hotel?
The State Plaza Hotel has excellent opportunities for qualified, energetic hospitality professionals to join our team. We are currently looking for an experienced Hotel House Attendant.
This position will work shifts on the floors and in the laundry department.
Primary responsibilities while on the floors include:
- the cleaning of the outdoor space (including sidewalks, driveway, and courtyard)
- watering of the outdoor plants
- transporting linen between guest floors and laundry
- ensuring housekeeping closets are stocked with supplies.
Primary responsibilities while in laundry include:
- Separating dirty linen and putting in carts
- Loading and unloading washing machines
- Loading and unloading dryers
- Taking laundry cart from wash area to finishing area
- Folding towels and laying out sheets for ironing
- Must ensure that dirty linen is processed in a timely manner while keeping all machines running with little down time
The House Attendant -- must have flexible availability to include am and pm shifts as well as weekends.
The successful candidates will have a great personality, excellent customer service skills and be detail oriented.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
