Position Summary


What Will You Do?

Under the working title of compliance auditor, this position is assigned to audits of federal grant programs and is responsible for assessing agency procedures and compliance with federal requirements. Compliance auditors collect information through interviews of state agency staff and analysis of data and transactions to draw conclusions on an agency’s compliance with federal grant requirements. Compliance auditors work collaboratively within a team setting.

Audits are conducted in accordance with AICPA generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. GAO’s Government Auditing Standards, and other federal requirements. Successful candidates are provided training to develop the appropriate skills to conduct audits in accordance with these standards.

Salary Information


Salary is commensurate with candidate qualifications, certifications, and experience.

  • You are able to maintain strict nonpartisanship.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business-related or evaluation-related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.2

We are seeking candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is full-time and located on-site at our downtown, Madison location. A background check will be conducted on all finalists prior to an offer of employment.
