Nature of Work
Under general supervision, at the full-performance level, relieves the Community Service Manager of various clerical and minor administrative tasks. Work requires exercising discretion and use of independent judgement. Work includes transcribing meetings, use of word processing programs, screening correspondences as directed, routine filing, maintaining records, and other requirements needed by the Community Service Manager. Human Resource duties include processing new hire and resignation paperwork, reviewing applications and scheduling interviews for potential candidates, payroll transactions, acts as Benefits Coordinator for district offices, timekeeper for district office. Performs related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience performing clerical duties at the Office Assistant 3 level, encompassing a wide range of office practices, which must have in included typing, screening and routing telephone calls and correspondence, and composing routine correspondence.
Substitution: College hours or related business school or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for up to two years of the required experience.
