Nature of Work
Join our growing team as an Office Assistant 2 with the Department of Human Services, Bureau for Family Assistance! We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for various clerical duties, including customer service, logging clients to the appropriate department, answering/directing phone calls, scanning documents, running/sorting/distributing/scanning mail, email and faxes, following office policies and procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and office machines preferred. The candidate will routinely operate various types of office equipment. The candidate may be trained in areas such as a financial clerk and an equipment coordinator to assist in a backup role. Some travel and a valid driver's license is required. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in routine office work.
Substitution: College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
