Under limited direction of the Bureau Sub-Recipient Grant Director and working in the Bureau for Public Health (BPH) Central Finance Office. This position has the responsibility for leading a team consisting of multiple Administrative Services Assistant I Positions. This position will assist in training new staff and provide full-performance level administrative sub-recipient grant assistance to BPH Offices. This position will lead staff and support leadership and program staff in writing complex sub-recipient grant agreements. This position is responsible for the preparation of sub-recipient grant agreements, monitoring budgets, approving expenditures, processing budget amendments and change order to grant agreements and ensure that all requests are posted accurately and in accordance with state and federal regulations. This position is a crucial point of contact for program staff, manager and directors of the bureau offices, grantees and department staff. This position provides assistance to grantee to resolve complex issues that arise throughout the grant period and actively participate in intra/inter office meetings as the BPH Purchasing Representative. Travel may be required. Other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from an accredited college or university. Preference may be given to candidates with a major in the area of public or business administration, accounting, industrial relations, communications or related field.
Substitution: Additional qualifying experience as described below may be substituted on a year-for year basis for the required training.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in a technical or professional position providing administrative services such as accounting, budgeting, project monitoring and reporting, personnel, or procurement and property.
Substitution: Successful completion of graduate study in an accredited college or university in one of the above fields may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.
