The Administrative Law Judge 2 is a full-time, on-site position located in Morgantown, WV. The role involves presiding over administrative hearings and mediations, analyzing legal issues, drafting decisions, and ensuring proceedings comply with applicable laws and regulations. The individual will manage case dockets, review motions, and safeguard the fairness and impartiality of the judicial process while maintaining thorough documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Law and Administrative Law, including their application in varied legal contexts
- Experience with Judicial decision-making and presiding over hearings
- Ability to analyze Legal Issues, conduct research, and provide sound reasoning
- Proficiency in interpreting and evaluating Motions and evidence
- Strong analytical thinking, organization, and time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and membership in good standing with a state bar association
- Experience in administrative hearings or similar legal adjudication processes is highly preferred
