DSHS Lakeland Village Licensed Practical Nurse 2 (LPN2)


Join the team at Lakeland Village Residential Habilitation Center in Medical Lake as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 2 and make a meaningful impact. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with cognitive disabilities, supporting their health, well-being, and dignity. Some of what you'll be doing: 

  • Provide treatment and nursing care for people who have developmental disabilities and/or other neurological, physiological, or behavioral health disorders.
  • Assist in developing and managing Individual Habilitation Plans for residents and clients to help improve and maintain health.
  • Implement care plans, administer medications, and assist the physician and other medical staff with treatments and exams.

Who should apply:

  • Professionals with a valid Washington state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or those who can obtain the license prior to employment.

What we're looking for: 

  • Demonstrated ability to apply practical nursing principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting basic physical assessments and treatment techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care

Additional information:

  • All shifts are open. Please select those you are interested in within the Supplemental Questions section of your application.
  • Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.  
  • Evening and night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate
