As a Custodian 2, you will play an important role within the Finance, Technology, and Analytics Administration (FTAA), helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support the well-being and comfort of those we serve while contributing to the daily operations of the campus. Shift: Swing Shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The Behavioral Health and Treatment Center at Maple Lane Campus is a secure inpatient behavioral health facility operated by Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Since 2016, the campus has provided specialized treatment and recovery-focused services for individuals receiving behavioral health care through civil commitment or who have been found not guilty by reason of insanity. Located on the historic Maple Lane Campus, the center includes multiple residential treatment units that support residents through psychiatric care, evaluations, peer support, skill development, and individualized discharge planning. Maple Lane’s goal is to help residents stabilize, progress in treatment, and successfully transition to a less restrictive community setting with appropriate ongoing supports and services.

Some of what you will do:
- Transport, move, and arrange furniture and equipment throughout the facility.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in resident and common areas.
- Clean and unclog sinks, toilets, and urinals in restrooms and facility spaces.
- Dust surfaces and clean windows to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Pressure-wash outdoor walkways and exterior areas as needed.
We are looking for individuals who have:
- A valid state driver’s license.
- Six months to one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or general building maintenance work.
- The ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- The physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
