This is a Social and Health Program Manager position that manages over 60 FTE's with 6 direct reports and is responsible for the PACE Program, service provision for persons experiencing homelessness, and In Home Services in Region 2 Home and Community Services. This position establishes the goals and objectives for the biennium to ensure the outcomes, and that resources are available for the operations of the PACE and In Home Services. This position manages constituent complaints, personnel actions ( corrective or disciplinary actions to improve performance), and Reasonable Accommodations. This position participates with the Regional Administrator and the other WMS Managers in the Region's goal setting, budget development, and policy and procedure implementation.
This position collaborates on a state-wide basis with HCS Headquarters and other WMS Program Managers regarding program and policy development and implementation. This position is instrumental in community coordination with the Area Agencies on Aging, Regional Support Network, Residential Services, Hospitals, Tribes, and service providers. This can be a hybrid telework position but must be in the office at least one day a week and additional days as needed for meetings, trainings and office coverage.
Who and what we are looking for:
Master’s Degree in social science, health, public administration or related field and four years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social and health services programs;
OR
Bachelor’s Degree and six years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social and health services programs.
OR
Ten years of professional/practical experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social and health services programs. Additional years of service may substitute year for year for education.
