Job Duties
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will:
- Issue license plates, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.
- Receive, research and respond to incoming questions or complaints; provide information, explain policy and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution.
- Process transactions at a Point-of-Sale system, give correct change and close cash drawer at end of shift.
- Assist the public and others to complete forms, applications and other paperwork.
- Examine documents to verify applicability, legibility, completeness, accuracy, and/or consistency of information from one document to another, etc.
- Perform comprehensive physical inspection of motor vehicles to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
