What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Workers and Quality Control Inspectors position at State of the Art, Inc.?
State of the Art, Inc. has openings for First and Second Shift Production Workers and Quality Control Inspectors. These positions involve working with extremely small parts requiring excellent visual acuity, good manual dexterity, speed, and an ability to work at the same task throughout the work shift.
Our day shift works Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Our night shift works Sunday through Thursday, from 4:25 pm to 12:55 am. Overtime hours may be expected. Initial evaluation at 60 days generally results in a pay adjustment. Benefits include: Paid Time Off at 60 days, Holidays at 30 days, and Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance are available on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. After the first full calendar quarter of service there is a bonus program. After one year of service, there is profit sharing and a money purchase pension plan. As noted above, these positions require good manual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected to 20/20). Applicants’ dexterity and visual acuity will be tested during the interview process.
