About Violence Against Women Act
- Collaborate with the Director, Deputy Director, Education Coordinator(s), and Program Coordinators to develop and facilitate professional, sector-specific trainings.
- Publicize the trainings and presentations, assist in promoting and coordinating prevention education across the state, and ensure FOIA notices are released within certain timelines.
- Assist program staff with logistics for trainings, meetings and other VAWA/HT special events.
- Maintain a record of all requests for public awareness presentations.
Support Task Force quarterly meetings, TF subcommittee meetings, SARTs, DVCCs and other meetings as needed. - In collaboration with the Program Coordinators, manage requests for posters, brochures and other outreach materials. Keep record of number of items disseminated. Assist Graphic Designer with requests for printed materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
- Position may require overnight travel, work on evenings and weekends.
- Position requires a valid driver's license and frequent driver duties.
- Position may be required to transport files, and position requires frequent stooping and/or bending.
- Prior experience with the coordination of training and/or special events preferred.
- Must be attentive to detail and have excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work well as a team member, be professional and discreet and work independently under limited supervision.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Requires excellent organizational skills.
- Previous experience in and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of Adobe preferred.
- Must have the ability to learn new software.
- Some travel required.
