What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist #61078885 position at State of South Carolina?
Provides direct and indirect Speech therapy services as indicated on student IEP’s and monitors student progress. Evaluates students to determine need for Speech/Language services, completes written evaluation report, and develops IEP’s as appropriate. Writes progress reports and summaries of treatment for Medicaid and ensures all documentation is complete in a timely manner. Attends IEP meetings as required. Requires Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Speech-Language Therapy; a Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (Communication Disorders); ASHA (American Speech Hearing Association) certification preferred. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement. If selected for an interview you must provide verification of your highest level of education (i.e., copy of BA Degree, high school diploma, college transcripts) and if applicable, licensure and/or certification (i.e. nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driving certification).
Salary : $49,590 - $78,160
