This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Pee Dee Mental Health Center, 125 East Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.
Responsibilities for the Program Coordinator II:
- Management of Clinic and programs, ensure admin team has all schedules full for the Florence Clinic.
- Meet regularly with nursing and admin staff.
- Represent the agency as requested in the community and build strong relationships with community stakeholders.
- Provide oversight to the Crisis Department.
- Ensure compliance with benchmarks and standards for Productivity Measures, Access to Services, Caseloads, Dormant Patients, and Patient Outcome Measures.
- Quality Assurance and Accreditation
- Customer Service, Cultural Competence, and Corporate Compliance.
- Provide technical, clinical, and professional services in a program area of a state agency.
- Manage the service delivery process associated with programs administered by an agency.
A Master's degree in the Social Sciences and four (4) years experience in the initiation and supervision of program evaluation regarding the quality and effectiveness of Mental Health programs.
Additional Requirements:
- Be able to meet OMH credentialing requirements which include specific graduate course work including Psychopathology/Psychopathology Diagnostics/Clinical Assessments Practice with Family Therapy (DSM) and Medical Ethics.
- Must be able to show evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care. This experience may be documented as a practicum, internship, or post-graduate experience.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
Have knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the area of employment. Be able to exercise good judgment and discretion. Have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Be able to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Have the ability to communicate effectively.
