Job Responsibilities
Reviews purchase request, verifies accuracy and ensures all required documents are attached as required by the SC Procurement Code. Processes Purchase Orders within the SCEIS system. Reviews all purchases and suggest solicitations in order to coordinate services and supplies to benefit the Agency. Processes funds reservations as required. Assists end users with issues pertaining to Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Receives, processes and distributes daily mail to appropriate staff. Prepares and delivers invoices to Accounts Payable to be processed for payment. Ensures invoices are valid and the invoice has not been previously paid. Maintains a spreadsheet of invoices sent to Accounts Payable for processing. Verifies goods receipts are posted. Ensures purchase orders are marked no further invoice and no further goods receipt at the end of the Fiscal Year and Purchased Orders issued under a contract are reduced or deleted as required.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma, three (3) years of experience in government procurement and two (2) years of experience using SCEIS SRM. An in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, rules and regulations related to the South Carolina Procurement Code. A minimum of two (2) years of experience and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor s degree in Business (non-specific) and five (5) years of experience in SC Government procurement using SCEIS.

In depth knowledge and experience in government procurement and procurement procedures. Knowledge and experience with South Carolina Procurement Code. A working knowledge of general office procedures to include proficiency in operating computers and the Microsoft Office Suite.
