Are you registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) after completion of an approved two (2) year school of radiologic technology?
Do you possess ARRT credentials in Computed Tomography (CT)?
How much experience do you have as an x-ray and CT technologist?
Are you familiar with typing and administrative skills essential to carry out functions of an x-ray and CT clinic?
- Obtains radiologic and CT examinations as ordered by medical staff.
- Works with patients who may be nervous, in a heightened emotional state and/or have limited mobility.
- Maintains and performs basic maintenance on related equipment as necessary.
- Maintains the PACS system audit, uploads CDS, and ensures all radiologic and CT examination paperwork is completed and available to radiologist.
- Schedules clinic visits for all x-ray and CT services for all SCDC institutions statewide.
- Updates X-ray and CT procedures and ensures compliance with IC, OSHA and DPH requirements, including quarterly submission of dosimetry monitors.
- Presents nursing orientation as it relates to radiology workflows and procedures.
- Supervises radiology staff and manages daily divisional operations.
- Ensures adherence to clinical and agency protocols and procedures.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with interdisciplinary managers.
