Job Responsibilities
The University of South Carolina Athletics department is looking for a highly motivated Director of Softball Operations. This position will be responsible for :
- All operations related to team travel
- Video tape exchange
- Office administration
- Facility scheduling
- Game operations
- Scheduling and developing special projects by the Head Softball Coach
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and / or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge or experience in collegiate softball strongly preferred; strong computer and organizational skills are essential.
Additional Comments
Some knowledge or familiarity with college athletics. Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to think quickly, exercise good judgement and use discretion. Familiarity with computer systems to include Microsoft Office and various database systems for recruiting and alumni purposes.
