What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Asst - Inmate Record (#010225) Classification and Inmate Records Office - Columbia (RICHLAND) position at State of South Carolina?
- Provides administrative support for Assistant Division Director of the Inmate Records office.
- Type and distribute confidential and specialized correspondence and memos.
- Serve as Human Resource Liaison for the IRO.
- Assist supervisors in coordinating training workshops/classes, to include scheduling meeting rooms and contacting attendees as needed. .
- Creates PowerPoints as needed and prepares and complies handouts.
- Serve as the Administrative Recorder for the sexual violent multi-disciplinary team and answers phone calls and refers appropriately.
- Distributes incoming/outgoing mail.
- Monitor and request office supplies for the IRO.
- Ensures all office equipment is in proper working order and coordinates maintenance calls for equipment when necessary.
- Maintains and distributes keys within IRO.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree maybe substituted for the related work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and two (2) years of clerical experience;
OR
A degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Must have experience using, computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines.
