What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Machine Tool Instructor position at State of South Carolina?
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, teaching varying schedules, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
Adjunct position could be located at the Cheraw, Marlboro, Dillon, or Pageland Campus. Will be based on availability and need.
Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related industrial discipline with five (5) years direct experience in the machining trade. Knowledge and experience in operating mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses [conventional and Computer Numeric Control (CNC), Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)] are required. Please submit a copy of your transcripts (unofficial copies acceptable) with your application. Must have a valid driver's license. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, especially at the community and technical college or secondary level.
