In this position you will be responsible for the following:
- Process employee travel reimbursement requests.
- Process invoices in the consumer services procurement system (CMS).
- Complete and forward TD Bank signature card updates as requested.
- Interact with the Comptroller General's Office, VR employees, and vendors to resolve problems with bill payment, travel issues and reimbursements.
- Approve documents in AP workflow.
- Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate individual or department.
- Issue refunds per policy.
- Facilitate travel reimbursement guidelines to new employees during new employee orientation.
- Serve as back up for other Accounts Payable Accounting Technician III positions as needed and additional duties as assigned.
- Additional duties or projects as assigned.
- A high school diploma and four (4) years of experience in an entry-level accounting or bookkeeping position. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for required work experience.
Official transcripts will be required to verify college degree.
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounts payable principles and best practices.
- Good mathematical and computational skills.
- Ability to perform accounts payable or accounting-related functions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Salary : $37,200 - $48,300
