What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN's, LPN's, needed to support medically complex teen in foster care position at State of Oregon-Child Welfare?
Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled RN , or LPN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in the foster home setting, including emergency situations, and home community care . As a nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, delivering medical interventions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Client is a 16 year old girl with complex medical needs requiring full care. Her day to day care includes:
24/7 supervision due to her respiratory needs
Suctioning mouth and tracheostomy
Oxygen management
G-tube feedings and medication administration
Nebulizer treatments
Repositioning q2 hours
Range of motion exercises and PT therapies
Assistance with all ADL's
Transfers
Accompanying the foster parent to medical appointments
Foster parent is trained to provide care and training will be provided to the right candidate. Med/Surg or ICU experience a plus.
RN rate is $74 per hour, LPN rate is $44.00/hour
Shifts available: Friday, Saturday, 7am to 7pm or Sunday, Monday 7pm to 7 am
