POSITION TITLE: Victim Witness Coordinator
LOCATION: Ada, Oklahoma
STATUS: Full-Time/Immediate Opening
CLOSING: December 5, 2025
SALARY: Salary based upon Experience and Qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION: District Twenty-Two is seeking a motivated and compassionate Victim Witness Coordinator to provide support and advocacy for victims and witnesses throughout the criminal justice process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide trauma-informed assistance, guidance, and advocacy to victims and witnesses involved in criminal cases.
- Explain court procedures, case status, and victim's rights in compliance with applicable laws.
- Attend court hearings with victims or witnesses as needed.
- Coordinate with prosecutors, law enforcement, social service agencies, and community partners to ensure comprehensive support services.
- Maintain confidential case files, documentation, and timely communication with victims.
- Serve as the primary contact for media, community organizations, and the public regarding agency-related information.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, public statements, and informational materials.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and trauma-informed practices is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations under stressful or emotional circumstances.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED equivalent
