Definition
Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Analyst, participate in the financial division to ensure continual compliance with all Oklahoma Statutes. Maintain procedures and documentation to validate ongoing Departmental compliance.
Duties And Responsibilities
Applicants enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in the following fields of study preferred, Insurance, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or Actuarial.
Note
Upon hire, any applicant who is licensed as a producer/agent, adjuster or is otherwise affiliated with any entity that is regulated by the department must surrender their license and terminate any financial or non-financial affiliation with the entity that is regulated by the department. The selected applicant must pass a background check. Individuals may be required to pursue NAIC designations as job duties require.
Telework
This position may be eligible for telework each week under OID’s Telework Program after initial training.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Review for compliance with Oklahoma state statutes and process the forms. (Foreign company changes: Name change, Line of authority, Change of control, Merger, Acquisitions, Redomestication, Articles of Incorporation, or Bylaw updates)
- Review and process annual report submissions to verify accuracy, statutory compliance, and payment of fees. (Funeral Homes, Surplus Lines and Accredited Reinsurer applications and annual renewals)
- Update company contact information. Handle both oral and written communication with assigned companies.
- Complete other financial division duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft’s Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Effective communication skills
