What You’ll do as a Software Development Specialist 1:

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify program modules using technologies such as Salesforce, C#.
- Write and execute unit/system test cases; debug and revise programs to ensure desired results.
- Assist in gathering requirements, documenting business process flows, and developing software solutions to business problems.
- Provide post‑production support, including maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to exchange technical information and lead focused discussions.
- Support user acceptance testing, source control, and deployment activities.
- Promote system security by adhering to agency and state IT policies.
- Continuously learn new skills through training, seminars, and self‑directed study.
- Experience with software development tools, debugging, and version control.

- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
