Data Analytics Specialist

The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking to fill one (1) Data Analytics Specialist position in the Information Technology Division.

What You’ll Do As a Data Analytics Specialist

• Collaborating with the consulting company to gain a deep understanding of the Data Lake architecture and processes.
• Providing expert analysis and insights to optimize data utilization and drive business decisions.
• Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Developing and implementing advanced analytics models to enhance data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

• Or completion of associate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 30 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.
• Or completion of undergraduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 24 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.
• Or completion of graduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 12 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.
• Or 36 mos. exp as a Data Analytics Associate, 66930.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
