What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Investigation Supervisor 1 include but are not limited to:
- This position is a regulatory position
- Manage and provide leadership to team members
- Cultivate teamwork to accomplish goals and objectives
- Work in a regulatory capacity and ensure the racino complies with all rules, regulations, laws, and standard operating procedures
- Work in a location that is open 24 hours per day/7 days per week and schedule staff to ensure shift coverage
- Oversee and manage all Ohio Lottery regulatory operations at the racino facility
- Review and approve incident reports completed by team members
- Manage the background check and licensing processes for racino employees
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with racino management, Ohio State Racing Commission, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, local law enforcement agencies, and medical response agencies
- Manage the Voluntary Exclusion Program enrollment process at the racino
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments of Video Lottery Terminals and related floor plans and surveillance coverage
- Use Lottery-specific software applications
- Perform other duties and work on special projects

2 years investigation experience with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; valid driver's license.
- Or 3 years training or 3 years experience as investigator where experience does not correspond with cases/complaints/allegations to be assigned; valid driver's license.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
MAJOR WORKER CHARACTERISTICS
Knowledge of Ohio Lottery laws, rules & regulations*; Investigative techniques & procedures; Interviewing; Rules of evidence; Supervisory principles/techniques. Skilled in Use of personal computer. Ability to Review & evaluate investigations completed by staff to recommend final disposition, need for additional work & legal compliance; Use proper research methods in gathering data; Prepare &/or edit policies & procedures.
