The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing helps ensure Ohioans’ investment in their largest asset – their homes – is a sound one. This includes licensing, educating, and enforcing Ohio laws for real estate brokers, salespersons, real estate appraisers, home inspectors and foreign real estate dealers and salespersons. The division also registers cemeteries and real estate developments located in other states that are marketed in Ohio. REPL also has responsibilities under the Manufactured Homes Program and is responsible for licensing and inspecting brokers/dealers and salespersons. The Video Service Authorization Section provides complaint services, education and outreach to cable consumers, local governments, and cable providers.

The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing (REPL) is filling a Program Administrator 2 (PA 2) role on their team to conduct outreach for the division. The PA 2 will perform the following duties which include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of education and outreach campaigns that support licensee education, consumer protection, and public awareness.
  • Serve as a primary liaison to partner agencies, community organizations, and the public to build engagement and expand outreach efforts.
  • Manage licensee‑focused education initiatives that promote understanding of regulatory requirements, responsibilities, and continuing education updates.
  • Oversee consumer‑focused education campaigns that provide clear, accessible information on real estate transactions, fraud prevention, and the value of working with licensed professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions and external marketing and communications vendors to coordinate outreach strategies and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Represent the division at public speaking engagements, community events, and media opportunities, identifying new outreach channels and partnerships.
  • Maintain REPL’s digital outreach presence, including website content, newsletters, email campaigns, and social media communications.
  • Support budgeting and project management for outreach initiatives, develop public education materials, and oversee contracted marketing and communication service providers.

Qualifications
4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.

  • Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.

  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
