Job Summary:

• Title: Ultrasound Tech
• Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
• Duration: 13 weeks (Extending)
• Shift: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. 7 hours. 35 hours a week.
• Pay rate: Lucrative Pay Benefits Bonus.

Requirements:

• Must have 1 year of recent Ultrasound Tech experience.
• Active ARDMS certification.
• COVID Vaccinated.
• BLS / CPR Preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Perform ultrasound examinations, including obstetric and gynecological scans, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess images and communicate findings.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques while preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Keep detailed records of ultrasound examinations and maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition.
• Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography practices to continually enhance your skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in performing sonography procedures with a focus on patient care.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and diagnostic radiology principles.
