Job Summary:
- Title: Ultrasound Tech
- Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
- Duration: 13 weeks (Extending)
- Shift: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. 7 hours. 35 hours a week.

Requirements:
- Must have 1 year of recent Ultrasound Tech experience.
- Active ARDMS certification.
- COVID Vaccinated.
- BLS / CPR Preferred.
What you’ll do:
- Perform ultrasound examinations, including obstetric and gynecological scans, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess images and communicate findings.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques while preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep detailed records of ultrasound examinations and maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography practices to continually enhance your skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in performing sonography procedures with a focus on patient care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and diagnostic radiology principles.
