Title: Pharmacy Technician
Duration: 13 Weeks
location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift: Mon–Fri (5x8)
Summary:
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician supports medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Duties:
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and delivery.
- Rotate between pharmacy satellites, tours, and shifts as needed.
- Manage medication carts, returns, and stock deliveries to hospital units.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems.
- Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timely task completion.
Skills & Experience:
- Required: Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Preferred: Pharmacy dispensing, sterile processing, and IV room experience.
Education & Licensure:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- NYSED Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
