The New York State Unified Court System Office of Court Administration - Division of Professional and Court Services is recruiting for (1) one position in the Analyst Series. The position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected: Principal Court Analyst or Senior Court Analyst.

PRINCIPAL COURT ANALYST

Base Salary: $84,659 $4,920 LOCATION PAY

Assignment: The Office of Records Management supports effective records management practices across the Unified Court System by promoting compliance with established guidelines for the creation, retention, preservation, and use of records in all formats. The successful candidate will serve as a mid-level supervisor under the Chief Records Manager.

Duties include assisting in the development and management of records retention schedules, overseeing digitization and scanning initiatives, assisting with disaster recovery of records, preparing training materials and conducting training sessions, assisting the Chief Records Manager in providing technical guidance to courts and OCA offices and performing other essential duties as assigned.

Preference will be given to candidates with supervisory and training experience. Additional preference will also be given to applicants with experience conducting records inventories, developing retention schedules, supporting disaster recovery, and working with electronic records. Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management systems and Share Point is highly desirable. Statewide travel may be required.

SENIOR COURT ANALYST

Base Salary: $76,112 $4,920 LOCATION PAY

Assignment: The Office of Records Management ensures that records across the Unified Court System are created, maintained, preserved, and used in accordance with established guidelines, regardless of format. The role involves leading major records management projects, which may focus on areas such as record retention, electronic records, process improvement, records inventory, disaster recovery, and archival practices. The successful candidate will provide logical, consistent guidance to staff on developing procedures that support the effectiveness and continuity of court records.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior records management experience and a practical understanding of the technical aspects of electronic records. Statewide travel may be required.

Qualifications:

PRINCIPAL COURT ANALYST: One year in the Senior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

SENIOR COURT ANALYST: One year in the Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary : $76,112 - $84,659
