SUNY Geneseo encourages a positive workforce where employees take pride in their work and thrive in a team-based environment.You’ll perform a variety of routine manual tasks in cleaning and caring for an assigned area. Typical tasks assigned to this position include: -Cleaning, dusting, and polishing assigned areas including furniture, metal fixtures, and equipment-Maintaining floors, corridors, stairs, and stairwells by washing, stripping, waxing floors, and vacuuming and shampooing carpets-Cleaning and scrubbing walls, partitions, and windows from the inside or outside of buildings and all areas of lavatories and locker rooms including cleaning blood spills and bodily fluids-Moving furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning activities, meeting set up, or special events.VARIOUS SHIFTS AVAILABLEMore details, including off days and shift availability, will be available at the time of interview. Shift hours are: - 1st: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.- 2nd: 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.- 3rd: 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
