Why does the job exist?
The Office Support Clerk will:
Complete clerical support duties related to operations of the Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD);
Communicate with bureaus and units within DDSD and external customers;
Support the Training and Knowledge Management Bureau (TKMB), The Systems and Data Bureau (SDB), and the Clinical Services Bureau (CSB) with clerical needs such as data entry, electronic and hard copy filing, scheduling, travel processing, ordering, and phone coverage;
Report directly to the DDSD Deputy Director who has oversight of TKMB, SDB and CSB.

The Office Support Clerk is responsible for:
Providing the following support to include:
Data entry;
Electronic and hard copy filing;
Scheduling;
Travel processing;
Purchase orders;
Phone coverage.
Who are the customers?
To assist the various identified bureaus within DDSD with clerical needs in their efforts to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Ideal Candidate
To assist the various identified bureaus within DDSD with clerical needs in their efforts to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Minimum Qualification
Eighth grade education.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive a Defensive Driving Course Certificate as a condition of continued employment within 45 days of employment. Travel may be required with some occasional overnight stays. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Working Conditions
Office setting with extensive use of personal computer, telephone, fax, copier and other related office equipment that involves sitting, standing, bending, reaching, etc. to include lifting up to 30 pounds.
