**FACILITY IS LONG TERM CARE/MEADOWS HOME**
Why does the job exist?
The MDS LTC Office Support Clerk will perform clerical duties to support the MDS office's daily operations, such as office reception, maintain filing systems, preparing correspondence, copying, managing mail, and various secretarial duties within the department.
How does it get done?
The MDS LTC Office Support Clerk will perform clerical duties to support the MDS office's daily operations, such as office
reception, maintain filing systems, preparing correspondence, copying, managing mail, and various secretarial duties within the
department.
The MDS LTC Office Support Clerk is responsible for:
Document management and organization to include sorting, filing, maintaining and retrieving confidential resident
assessments and maintaining resident filing systems.
Office support including editing documents, handling incoming and outgoing mail, order office supplies, operating office
equipment and submit repair requests for office equipment.
Communication skills to include oral and written communication. Answering and directing phone calls, take messages,
send and respond too emails. Greet visitors and provide general information.

Long Term Residents and MDS Nursing staff.
Ideal Candidate

Minimum Qualification
Eighth Grade Education
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's license.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.
