This position provides Human Resource Generalist duties for agencies within the HR Services department.

This position provides Human Resource (HR) services and support for small state agencies that utilize the State Personnel Office Human Resource Services as their primary HR.
How does it get done?
This position serves as an HR Generalist to support multiple, small HR Service agencies and performs the following duties:
New Mexico state agencies in the Classified Service.
Ideal Candidate
New Mexico state agencies in the Classified Service.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in any field. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive phone and personal computer usage. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.
