Why does the job exist?
This position will provide support of our specially licensed homes and provide additional training and resources. It will also support recruitment efforts for these homes as well as TFC and out community homes.
How does it get done?
- Meet and work with the contracted agencies to support Forster Care plus
- Support training of Foster Care plus resource parents
- This worker will be assessing needs, and supports for resource foster parents in the foster care plus program.
- Participate in Treatment meetings and home visits Foster Care plus specialized resources homes and children.
- Follow Foster Care Plus program guide and support all guidelines
- Support recruitment of resource homes and support CBRR Teams in these efforts.
- Work with the communication office to maintain recruitment efforts and support strategic recruitment plan.
- Care at Recruitment events with Recruitment team and Navigators and participate in all recruitment events within the supporting region.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, and / or Family Studies / Services. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and / or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education.

Employment Requirements
Must possess a current and valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual / Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage and exposure to occasional contacts with adult inmates.
