Duties
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, behavioral sciences, human services or related field OR Associate’s degree in criminal justice, behavioral sciences, human services or related field plus two years of corrections experience; OR four years of corrections experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. No felony or domestic abuse related convictions.

Job Description

Duties
- Provide supervision and guidance to Unit Caseworkers in the successful performance of unit management operations.
- Monitor incarcerated individuals behavior and maintain order within housing units, addressing issues as needed.
- Guide and counsel incarcerated individuals on rules, treatment plans, and rehabilitation programs, including crisis intervention and parole planning.
- Coordinate and document incarcerated individuals background information and referrals for appropriate medical, mental health, educational and vocational services.
- Facilitate non-clinical programming for assigned incarcerated population.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising/leading teammates
- Experience managing a caseload
- At least one year of experience in a correctional setting
- Experience as a guest instructor, facilitating programs or public speaking
