Job Description
The Nebraska Crime Commission is looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join their team! This position will assist the Program Manager in ensuring that Law Enforcement Officers in the State are in compliance with Statue and Title 79 of the Nebraska Administrative Code. This includes reporting requirements, waiver applications and eligibility for retention payments and grants.

Job Duties: Process applications for the Law Enforcement Attraction and Retention Act. Determine if Law Enforcement Agencies have met the criteria for Accreditation and perform field assessments of Agencies. Monitor annual reporting requirements for the State's Law Enforcement Officers. Compare out of state law enforcement curriculum with the State's standard. Vet Academy Instructor applications. Evaluate waiver requests of mandated Law Enforcement training. Other duties as assigned within the scope of classification.
Requirements/ Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Other: Some travel and overnight stays are required during auditing. A valid driver's license or ability to provide independent authorized transportation is required. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/or technical work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
