Assure the application of the nursing process and continuous quality improvement in keeping with the vision of NDVA. Plan and manage the appropriate quality and quantity of staff on assigned unit/facility. Accountable for communication of policies & procedures and performance expectations and outcomes, regular feedback and ongoing performance reviews. Monitor daily activities of the staff. Assist, educate, coach, counsel and offer commendations as indicated. Coordinate and investigate all employee performance issues, including allegations and disciplines with reporting to appropriate agencies. Act as client advocate and is a leader in quality improvement, safety, and infection control. 6:00pm-6:30am. 12-hour shifts. $3 differential for any hours worked! $1.50-$2.50 shift differential * $200 monthly bonus for commutes of 30 miles or more! * Requirements / Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered nurse in Nebraska and one year of relevant experience. Other: Must pass background checks and complete pre-employment drug screening. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge of nursing theory and practice; accepted standards of care; policies and procedures governing nursing care; sanitation and infection control standards, policies and procedures and techniques of providing quality nursing care. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis; to frequently bend at the waist and neck and frequently twist at the waist and walk or stand up to 50% of the shift.
