What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Fiscal Staff position at State of Missouri?
The Division of Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Fiscal Staff for Central Office domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri. This position reports to the Director of Fiscal Operations.
Responsibilities:
The primary role of this position is to provide fiscal support for the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant. This grant is $25M annually and is on two year renewals. Duties will include, but are not limited too:
- Writing queries to get expenditures
- Assuring expenditures are in compliance of federal regulations
- Coordinating grant applications renewals
- Review grant budgets for applications
- Prepare grant applications in eRA Commons and Grants.gov
- Complying with federal grant reporting requirements
- Working with providers on spend patterns
- Working with grant project director
- Working with division staff to assure all grant processes are occurring
- Reviewing invoices before payments are made
- Working closing with DBH fiscal grant manager
- Request and manage reporting categories and project codes for grant
- Develop and manage specific tracking documents for specific activities on the grant (i.e. RCCs, Training, etc.)
- Respond to emails from Project Director for fiscal information related to the grant
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience using a Microsoft Windows Operating System
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with:
- writing SQL queries against a large scale database to collect and analyze information related to billing and financial trends
- interpreting this information into meaningful reports for management decision making
- Ability to analyze financials and alert management of outliers
